Bio

Peter Luisi was born in Switzerland in 1975. He studied Film at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Where he graduated with college and university honors. His first feature length film VERFLIXT VERLIEBT (2004) won the Zurich film Prize and was awarded at the Max-Ophüls Film festival. He co-wrote VITUS (2006) which was a box office success and was shortlisted for an Oscar. He has since won over 40 international prizes including the audience award at the Locarno Film festival. His Film BONJOUR SWITZERLAND (2023) was a huge commercial success, ranking 8th in the most successful Swiss films of all times. THE LAST SCREENWRITER (2024) is his 9th feature length film. It was entirely written by AI and was released on Youtube for free in June of 2024.
