Dear Cortonians,
We hereby invite you to participate in the General Assembly of the Association Cortona Friends.
Date: 8th of February – 18:00 – 19:00 (6-7pm CET). Please see the details of the Zoom call below.
The second convocation is for Saturday 14th of February 2026 – 18:00 – 19:00 (6-7pm CET). This additional date will be used only in case less than 50% of the active members participate on Feb 8th, either in presence or by proxy.
Agenda:
- 1) Election of the Governing Council (Consiglio Direttivo).
- 2) Approval of the Minutes of the Nov 29th 2025 General Assembly and the Dec 20th 2025 Extraordinary Assembly.
To participate with a voting right at the General Assembly, please pay the annual membership fee of EUR 100 for the year 2026 AND complete the Application Form if you haven’t done so already.

On the homepage of the Cortona Friends website there is a direct link to the Membership page. On the Membership page there is a link to fill the Application Form.
If your email is already registered, please follow the instructions on screen to login, and reset the password if necessary, before paying for the Membership or completing your form.
Please register before the General Assembly if you want to be able to vote. Again, make sure you fill the Application Form.
Every active member is a candidate. If you do not wish to be voted, please send an email to Peta (petajane.sneddon@gmail.com) so that at the start of the Assembly we can collect votes only for those who are willing to be elected as members of the Governing Council.
Also, if you wish to be voted, but prefer to join the Governing Council for less than the statutory three year period 2026-2028, please send an email to Peta stating so. We need to elect a minimum of three members and a maximum of ten.
If you want to be represented by a proxy, please send an email to Peta (see email above) with the following content:
I hereby appoint <NAME_OF_YOUR_PROXY> as my Proxy to represent me, to vote, on my behalf at the Cortona Friends Association’s Assembly, scheduled to be held at 6 pm CET on Feb 8th 2026 on Zoom.
