There is no doubt that the Earth is warming: the temperature increased by 1.5 degree since 1900 and is likely to increase over 3 degree by the end of the century. This will have consequences on our future, not for what the temperature rise will have on the species of the Earth (life prefers a warm planet to a cold one), but for what it will happen to the environment if the polar caps will melt. We will examine the causes of the climate change which, unlike the past, is due to the human activity. Finally, we will discuss what to do to avoid an announced disaster.
