Changing the world, one child at a time

The lecture will concentrate on the humanitarian intervention of Still I Rise, and on the transformative impact of education on a child’s life.

The purpose of the presentation is two-fold. The first one is to prove that an alternative, new way of doing humanitarian work is not only possible, but called for in today’s world. The second one is to demonstrate how education radically changes the lives of children, enabling them to reclaim the future they were deprived of. The presentation will draw directly from case studies from the field in Syria, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Greece, where Still I Rise has been operating.
