Bio

Abid Khemiss is a bilingual (English/French) technology executive with over 25 years of experience helping organizations improve the reliability, performance, and operational efficiency of their critical IT systems. As Co-Founder and Director of Optimiz, he specializes in observability, AIOps, application performance monitoring, and IT service management, supporting organizations across North America in industries including banking, insurance, telecommunications, and the public sector. In addition to his consulting work, Abid is a lecturer at Collège Boréal in Toronto, where he teaches networking and cybersecurity. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of IT professionals and enjoys volunteering his time to support community organizations and initiatives that promote education, collaboration, and technology for good.
