- Giovanni Volpe is General Counsel at Still I Rise.
- Bio
- Born in Cremona in 1996, after earning a bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from Sciences Po University in Paris and The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., he specializes in Economic Law and International Law at Sciences Po's Law School. After various experiences in international law firms between Paris and Nairobi, Giovanni settled in Kenya in 2020 where, on behalf of Still I Rise, he led the opening of the first International School in the world to offer the International Baccalaureate pathway to refugee and vulnerable children. In 2021, Giovanni oversees in Kolwezi, Democratic Republic of Congo, the opening of "Pamoja," the Emergency and Rehabilitation School for children involved in artisanal cobalt mining. In July 2022, at age 25, he is promoted to the position of General Counsel, a directorship position responsible for the organization's legal affairs, macro-management and set-up of Still I Rise’s programs across the globe.
